Thanks to everyone who made our July 2009 show possible! We had a record 383 visitors and were featured both on WAAY-31 TV and in the Huntsville Times. Great job to all of our presenters and volunteers, and a big thanks to the Huntsville Depot for having us back!Historic Huntsville Depot, built in 1861, is now a transportation museum. This year, TVLTC returned for its second show at the Depot. We had 383 visitors to the show and were featured in the Huntsville Times as well as on WAAY-31 TV.

TVLTC built a 5'x20' LEGO display in the lobby of the Huntsville Depot. This year's show featured several theme areas, including City, Farm, the Wild West, and Star Wars. For this event, we opted to build a layout running against the long north wall of the Depot lobby. This configuration worked well, allowing visitors clear views of the scenery while also making crowd control easier.

The farm section is seen in the picture above.

Combining both past and future, the Wild West and Star Wars sections round out the layout.

Here's another look at the Star Wars battle scene.
