Books and Bricks: Monster Lab Edition, October 18, 2013

The Tennessee Valley LEGO Club offered its first building workshop in cooperation with the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library on Friday, October 18, 2013. Our Halloween-themed monster workshop brought two dozen children to the main library to create their own LEGO monsters using bricks provided by TNVLC. We also had a variety of spooky MOCs on display. Members of the the club helped children with their monsters and awarded prizes for the Scariest, Funniest, and Most Creative builds, along with a special Pumpkin Prize for a final outstanding MOC. All of the children got to keep their creations at the end of the event, and TNVLC also distributed a handful of extra bricks to each child.
