Con Kasterborous - July 18, 2015

Members of the Tennessee Valley LEGO Club were on hand for the 2015 Doctor Who convention, Con Kasterborous, at the Westin Hotel at Bridge Street Town Centre in Huntsville on July 18, 2015. The Saturday segment of the two day event drew about 2000 attendees, according to con organizers. Jennifer Garlen, Judson Hudson, and junior member Cate Sparks promoted the club and entertained con guests with a large Dr. Whooves mural and a small Doctor Who themed town display, all made of LEGO bricks. The town display included custom made LEGO models of the TARDIS, numerous Doctor Who characters, and lots of Daleks. Many con guests were aware of the upcoming LEGO Dimensions set featuring Peter Capaldi as the Doctor, and younger convention attendees loved seeing the My Little Pony/Doctor Who mashup and LEGO versions of their favorite characters from the show.
