Over the weekend of October 8 & 9, 2016, the Nashville chapter
presented BrickBlast at the main branch of the Nashville Public Library in
downtown Nashville.
The library turned
over their largest conference room to contain all things LEGO for the weekend. There was a great turnout with 24 TNVLC members from
Nashville, Huntsville and Knoxville chapters involved.
The visitor head count was 673 people for the
weekend.
Visitors enjoyed the play areas, including Duplo, Bionicle
and giant piles of green 2x4s, as well as regular system bricks, and also
bingo, trivia competitions and a scavenger hunt.
Our display included a 50 foot long collaborative train
layout encompassing Huntsville buildings

It was all in all a fantastic weekend where we got to meet
lots of LEGO fans, young and old, who may not have heard of us previously.
Thanks to everyone who came out to see us,
the library for hosting us and our members for all their hard work.
